Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American journalist. Her employer is ESPN and is the SportsCenter anchor for news. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. The daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has led to her obtaining a job in Miami as a production assistant for Univision. In this role, she had the opportunity to be a part of national show producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Following this it was announced that her CBS station in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009 she relocated to Texas into Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Covering stories related to drug trafficking and immigration from both sides of the Mexico-Texas border, she was an anchor for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5pm, then a news reporter in English at 9 pm and then a news anchor for 10 pm, and then returned back to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. She also filled in for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's station affiliated with Dallas. In that station, she was given greater accountability. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. In addition she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She also served as anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. In addition, she served as an anchor on sports in Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. At some point they were moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. Also, she has a younger sibling. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. In the course of a few months, her father divorced from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. In the summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked at the time. Antonietta is a senior in high school, yet she was clear about the career she wanted to pursue. While deciding if Mount Union would be a good fit for her, Antonietta decided to go visit the school. As it turned out she was a fan of the university and the university offered the major she was looking for. After high school, she graduated and was enrolled in media studies at the college. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence, and his passion for Journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she was determined to exceed his expectations always delivering on time.
